For all that
have prayed for my Mother through her battle
with cancer I want to thank you. My mother passed away June 23, 2010 from
tracheal cancer after a two year battle. She went peacefully in her sleep
and is now in Heaven. Please, continue to pray for my dad and family as we
deal with our loss. My dad was saved the day my mother passed away and he
will need a lot of prayer to help him grow from a new Christian into a strong
Christian example. Pray that God will give me the wisdom to help guide him
on this journey and that he will send the correct people to help him through
this massive loss.
God Bless and Thanks for your
prayers and support through this trying time.

Welcome to Trinity Labs. This is a picture of our first three
breeding females pregnant for the next generation of Trinity Labs taken years
ago. Our Kennel is located in Southeastern Ohio, nestled among the
foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. This kennel is the legacy left behind by
my very first Labrador Retriever "Miranda Lynn". Miranda was purchased for me by
my husband for my birthday in 1990. I had asked for an Irish Setter and he was
unable to find one so he took a chance and brought me home "Mandy". Mandy
instantly stole my heart and thus began my love for the breed. Unfortunately,
Mandy was later diagnosed with hip and elbow dysplasia and never was able to
breed. She was nearly crippled by age 9 and developed Cataracts which
blinded her. Mandy of course was never bred but she mothered my two daughters
and was their constant watchful eye and companion. She and my youngest
enjoyed their puppyhood together and she taught Tierra how to talk dog. (Just
ask anyone that has seen Tierra train or hunt test)
Mandy passed away June 22, 2003 and is greatly missed.
Because of this experience I work extra hard to ensure that I breed the most
healthy, genetic defect free dogs that I can. We breed only with dogs with OFA
Excellent and Good ratings and CERF eye clearances. I breed for drive,
intelligence, hunting ability, trainability, and conformation. My dream is to
breed the next Dual Champion. Health and Disposition are the two main
qualities that I look for, my girls have to go through a stringent screening
process where they must not only pass the normal hip, elbows and eye
certification process but also their Patella, Thyroid & Cardiac are
certified normal by the OFA. In addition to this, their DNA is on profile
with the AKC and UKC.they are DNA tested as non-carriers of CNM (Central
Nuclear Myopathy - formerly Labrador muscle Myopathy) and tested for EIC. All pups are raised
in my home among various other dogs, cats, children and even a ferret to round
out the mix. All pups are micro-chipped, dewclaws removed, 1st series of
shots, started on Interceptor and Frontline Plus, introduced to ducks and/or
pheasants as well as water (In bad weather I use my garden tub). I have
bred Search & Rescue dogs, service dogs, drug and bomb detection dogs, bench
champions, therapy dogs, wonderful companion dogs, as well as successful working
Labradors. I endeavor to breed the best from the best breed out
there. All sires have a proven performance record as well as proven stud
potential. I research every dog in at least 5 generations trying to find
the best genetic matches to my females. Every name in every pedigree is a
link to a page that will come up with all of the information that I could find
on every dog. This page contains the usual registration numbers, OFA
information, coat colors carried, etc.. as well as accomplishments, titles,
siblings, offspring, DNA Profiles, parents and any known genetic problems such
as CNM carrier, etc. There are 63 dogs in each 5 generation
pedigree. My links page contains links to AKC, UKC, CNM, OFA, CERF, Hall
of Fame List, and much much more. All you should know about raising and
training a dog is on the "Training Tips" page and "Buying Pup Tips" has
information that you should know before buying a pup from us or someone else,
whether you are buying a Lab or another breed it is full of useful
information. Please, browse around, enjoy our site and make use of the
information that it contains.
If your wish is to find a well bred
Labrador that is healthy, smart and loving check us out.

To view any health clearances
for yourself go to
http://www.offa.org and
you can enter the whole dog name without titles, part of the name, registration
number or OFA number to bring up the correct dog. The OFA has a vertical
pedigree tool that is very useful when trying to see how orthopedically sound a
bloodline is. You will see that all of my dogs have CHIC numbers, CHIC
numbers are given when a dog has had all of the health clearances recommended
for the breed and the owner opted to have results posted whether they were good
or bad, it does not mean that the dog passed all the tests. The required
tests for Labrador Retrievers are Hips, Elbows, & CERF, we also do Cardiac,
Thyroid, Patella, and genetic testing for EIC & CNM
